Steve Sequenzia is the founder and president of The Slate Technology Group. He is responsible for all the day to day operations as well as the long term direction of Slate.
Steve brings a unique background as a systems engineer, web developer, and a successful entrepreneur. The combination of technical knowledge and business expertise separates Slate from other IT companies.
Steve Sequenzia’s Background
Steve got his start in the field of Technology in 1998. Just out of high school, he started a small on-site computer repair service for home computers. This experience proved to be valuable down the road from both a technical and business prospective.
Steve moved on to installing advanced computer based security systems on cruise ships all around the world. Most of the time, he was out at sea and could not count on additional support from his team. This taught Steve to fully own the systems to which he was assigned.
Steve’s next job was with a small telecom company, where he was responsible for multiple networks including a 100 person international call center.
In 2001, Steve co-founded an Orlando based IT solutions provider. There, he was responsible for a team of systems engineers. Along with his business partner, Steve Sequenzia nurtured the company from a two person company to a multi-million dollar a year operation.
In 2007, Steve teamed up with multiple business associates to form HIT Systems, an early provider of cloud computing and healthcare specialized IT solutions.
Steve’s next vision was to start a new progressive and dynamic IT firm. The Slate Technology Group is the result of this vision, and is growing to be one of Denver’s premiere IT solutions providers.
